Angelo J. Lombardi, 85, of Hernando, FL, passed away on Monday, Aug. 4, 2025 at Vitas Healthcare in Lecanto, FL.

A native of Waterbury, CT., he was born July 9, 1940 to John and Antoinetta Lombardi, one of three children. Mr. Lombardi enjoyed a long career with the former Waterbury Buckle Company, known today as Illinois Tool Works (ITW), where he retired as Foreman. Angelo moved to Hernando in 1995 from his native Waterbury and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Inverness, FL. He was an avid bowler and participated in a bowling league with his beloved wife, Anna Lombardi, who survives him. Mr. Lombardi enjoyed playing poker weekly with his wife and loved spending time making birdhouses, woodworking, and tooling around in his garage. He also bicycled daily with his wife covering many miles on area trails.

In addition to his parents, Angelo was predeceased by his older sister Mary Gugliotti and her husband Nicola, as well as a brother-in-law, Jerry Covino. Mr. Lombardi is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Anna Lombardi (Campagna), Hernando, FL; daughter Antoinette Woychowski and her husband Keith, Hernando, FL; daughter Joanne Lindberg and her husband Chuck, Leominster, MA and son John Lombardi and his girlfriend Kerry Rowe, Southington, CT; grandchildren Kathryn Fielding and her husband Seth, Beverly Hills, FL; Krystina Woychowski, New Port Richey, FL; Anthony DeSomma, St. Augustine, FL; Angela Woychowski and her husband Charles, Citrus Springs, FL; Rachel Lindberg, Worcester, MA; Julian Lombardi, Winooski, VT and Holly Collier and her husband Andrew, Bristol, CT; as well as his sister, Antoinette Covino, Waterbury, CT.

Friends will be received on Fri., Aug. 8, 2025 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at Fero Funeral Home & Life Celebration Center, 5955 North Lecanto Highway, Beverly Hills, FL. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Sat., Aug. 9, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 550 US 41, Inverness, FL 34450 with Fr. Michael Suszynski, Celebrant. Entombment will immediately follow at Fero Memorial Gardens in Beverly Hills. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation, in memory of Angelo Lombardi, to Vitas Hospice House, 3350 W. Audubon Park Path, Lecanto, FL 34461
