Philip L. Andrew, Jr., 69, passed away on August 9, 2026 at his home in Harwinton. He was born in Torrington, on December 8, 1956 to Mildred Thibodeau and the late Philip L. Andrew.
Phil was raised in Harwinton and graduated from Lewis Mills High School. He worked for the U.S.P.S. for 44 years in New Hartford and Torrington. He retired in 2025.
He enjoyed Bowling in a league for several years, Cruise Night with life long friend Bruce Richards, Car Shows with his buddy, Mike “Pedes” Peters, The “Dunkin Donuts Gang”, Golfing, Hiking, walking and kayaking.
In addition to his mother, Phil is survived by his sister, Nancy Muni-Ruot and her husband Raymond Ruot. He will also be missed by man’s best friend, beloved dog Willow.
A funeral service will be held at the Harwinton Congregational Church, on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026 at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in West Cemetery in Harwinton. There are no calling hours.
