Charles Nelson Trombley Jr. age 76 of Waterbury, passed away peacefully January 12, 2024 in the Vitas Unit at Saint Mary’s Hospital. He was the loving husband of Linda Kay (Hoos) Trombley.
Charles was born April 5, 1947 in Waterbury, a son of the late Charles Nelson Trombley Sr. and Anna (Martone) Trombley. Charles had worked in several various positions throughout his career. He was a frequent caller to WATR and other local radio stations and loved the color red. He was a long-time member of both the Waterbury and Naugatuck YMCA, a member of the NRA and was an avid pro-life supporter.
Besides his loving wife of 47 years of Waterbury, he leaves his children Thomas Nelson Trombley and his wife Coleen of Southington, Jessica Mammi and her husband Joseph John of Virginia, eight grandchildren, one niece and three nephews.
Arrangements: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 22, 2024 at 10 a.m. at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, 72 West Main Street, Waterbury. Those planning to attend are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will be held privately and at the convenience of his family. There are no calling hours. Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT is assisting his family with arrangements.
