Raymond Roy, 77, of Waterbury unexpectedly entered the gates of heaven on Sunday, December 11, 2022 surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Margaret “Peggy” (McCarthy) Roy of 54 years.

Raymond was born on April 29,1945 in Waterbury, CT to the late Arthur and Rose (Nadeau) Roy. He attended Saint Anne Catholic School and graduated from Croft High School in 1964. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle with friends, trips to Florida, Sunday dinners and was particularly proud of his daughter Erin who he was always gardening and doing projects with.

Besides his wife Peggy of 54 years, Ray leaves behind to cherish his memory, his children Erin Stolfi and husband Michael of Wolcott and son, Raymond Roy, and four grandchildren, Spencer, Michaela, Raja, and Kaiden. He also leaves behind his brothers, Roland Roy of Naples, FL, Richard Roy of Waterbury, and Robert Roy of Coventry, CT, as well as his sister-in-laws Barbara Capobianco of Florida and late husband Domenic, and Lynn Knauf-Roy of Wolcott, CT, as well as many nieces and nephews
