George F. Miscavage, 74, of Watertown, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Waterbury Hospital. He was the partner of Jacqueline “Jackie” (Davis) Tasker.

George was born in Waterbury on January 6, 1948, the son of the late Frank G. and Helen (Pernerewski) Miscavage. He attended Crosby High School in Waterbury. George worked for Scovill Manufacturing, Sherwood Medical Industries, and the Town of Watertown Highway Department then for the Water and Sewer Department for many years until his retirement. George enjoyed gardening, he had a natural green thumb for growing both flowers and vegetables, which he would share with his family and friends. He was an animal lover. Animals in need always found him and he was always there to nurse them back to health. He enjoyed his music from the 50’s and 60’s and loved to listen to it while outside in his yard. He was a member of the Yankee Cruiser’s and attended many car meets along with Jackie, in his 1964 Pontiac GTO.

Beside his partner, Jackie, of 20 years, George leaves his niece, Lauren Pawloski and her wife, Shannon Scanlon, of Harwich, MA., Tracy and Jaime, his nephew, Frank Ferraro of Waterbury. He was predeceased by his two sisters, Francine Pawloski and Sharon Sasso.

Arrangement: A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Watertown. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, from 8:00 a.m. till the time of the service at the funeral home.
