THOMASTON- Marian J. (Palladino) Cyr, 78, of Thomaston, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by loved ones, on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. She was the widow of Vernon J. Cyr formerly of Watertown.

Marian was born June 11, 1942, in Waterbury, daughter of the late John and Marion (Trentalange) Palladino. She lived the majority of her life in Watertown and worked as a medical receptionist for many years. She enjoyed QVC, bingo, and trips to the casino.

Marian is survived by her son, Vern J. Cyr and his wife Kimberly of Watertown; her sister, Joanne Accuosti and her husband Carmen of Prospect; and her nephew and Godson, Michael Accuosti of Prospect.

The family would like to thank caregivers Malgorzata (Maggie) Wojtysko and Nicole (Deirdre) Brooks for the compassionate care shown to Marian.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, June 9, 10 a.m., at St. John the Evangelist Church, 574 Main St., Watertown. Friends and family are asked to meet directly at the church and reminded that masks are required in the church. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. There are no calling hours. The Hickcox Funeral Home, 195 Main St., Watertown, has been entrusted with the services.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marian’s memory to the Thomaston Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
