Kenneth Ray Bolton,76, of Naugatuck, passed away peacefully at home. Ken was the husband of the late Carol (Dudonis) Bolton for 53 years, the true love of his life.

Ken was born October 4th, 1942 in Kitts, Kentucky, son of the late Dana and Edna (Wright) Bolton.He was retired from GEM Manufacturing in Waterbury. Ken enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, always taking care of everyone. He was always a joker and always could be found tinkering with his many, many antique cars. Ken enjoyed cruises with his wife Carol and all of his many friends at Brass City Cruisers of Waterbury.

Ken is survived by a son Kevin Bolton, a daughter Pamela Tavares and her husband Manny of Naugatuck, grandchildren Emily Bolton, Kyle Bolton and Matthew Tavares of Naugatuck and David Tavares of Iowa, great grandchildren Kaiden Bolton of Naugatuck and Raelynn Tavares of Iowa, and his sister Evelyn Summa of Florida.

A heartfelt thank you to Vitas hospice nurse Ilana and all of the staff at Waterbury Hospital, Dr. David Hill and Dr. Michael Elser for their care and kindness over the past year. Special thanks to John and Sherry Dudonis for all their love and support.

Funeral services will be held Friday July 26th at 11:00 A.M. at Naugatuck Valley Memorial/ Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Naugatuck.
