Jeffrey Francis Collins, 67, of Waterbury passed away unexpectedly Saturday January 19, 2019 at Waterbury Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the caring husband of Kelly (Vaillancourt) Collins.

Jeffrey was born September 13, 1951 in Waterbury, a son of the late Morris Francis and Audrey Jean (Fyksen) Collins. Jeffrey proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. Jeffrey worked as a chemist at Baron Technology where he worked for over 30 years. Jeffrey was very knowledgeable and loved playing Trivial Pursuit with his wife Kelly. Jeff was a member of the Tennessee Squire Association for many years.

Besides his loving wife of 12 years, he leaves his children Heather and James Flinter of Waterbury, Juliette and J.J. DeTemple of Bryn Manor, PA, Maureen and Michael Brown of Oakville, Caitlyn and Dion Webber of Jacksonville, N.C., Amber Davis of New Britain, Craig and Casey-Lee Hall of Bristol, a brother Dan Collins of Alaska, a sister Linda Rothrock of NE, his grandchildren C.J., Hannah, Kaylah, Egypt, Jenna, Kendra, Jon Jay, Kourtney, Anya, Gerald, James and Malakai. He was predeceased by a daughter Kaitlyn Hall.

Arrangements: Funeral services for Jeffrey with military honors to follow will be held Tuesday January 22, 2019 at 7 p.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway Waterbury. Burial will be private and at the convenience of his family. Calling hours Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
