Lucy Riccitelli Anyzeski, 84, of East Haven passed away November 2, 2018 in CT Hospice surrounded by her loving family.

Wife of the late Michael J. Anyzeski. Beloved mother of Joseph (Anna Marie) Anyzeski of Prospect, Michelle (Salvatore) Carfora of East Haven, Julie (Todd) Beardsley and Lucinda (Mark) Simone all of North Branford and Lucy (John) Coombe of Guilford. Loving grandmother of Michael and Joseph Anyzeski, Christian and Thomas (Nicole) Carfora, Britney, Bryce and Alyssa Beardsley and John and Callie Coombe. Cherished great grandmother of Jezel Anyzeski.

Lucy was born in New Haven on October 2, 1934 a daughter of the late Carl and Julia Arpino Riccitelli. She is also survived by sisters, Philomena Apuzzo of New Haven, Gloria Daly of North Haven, Rosemary Riccitelli of East Haven and brothers, Carmen and George Riccitelli both of East Haven and Albert Riccitelli of New Haven. Besides her parents she was predeceased by a sister, Mary Quagliano and brothers, Pasquale and Joseph Riccitelli. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Prior to her retirement Lucy worked at the Ferrara Elementary School for many years. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Pompeii Church. The Anyzeski family would like to thank Lucy’s nephew Craig Riccitelli for his support, care and compassion.

Her funeral procession will leave the Porto Funeral Home, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte 80), East Haven Tuesday morning at 10:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the St. Pio of Pietrelclina Parish at Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 11:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
