WATERTOWN – Arthur Paul Hartmann, 73, of Mount Fair Drive, passed away Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Arthur was the widower of Joy (Diestler) Hartmann.

Arthur was born in Haledon, N.J., son of the late Arthur Hartmann and the late Hilda (Guggenbuhler) Hartmann. He was employed by IBM, both in New Jersey and in Southbury for many years until his retirement in 1998. He was an avid train enthusiast in which he collected model train sets, he volunteered his time at the Rail Road Museum of New England, and worked at Railworks America in Brookfield.

Arthur leaves behind his son, Jason Hartmann of Watertown; his daughter, Tiffany Hartmann of Watertown; his two sisters, Karen Stavola and her husband, Thomas, of Maywood, N.J., and Susan Hartmann of Cape Coral, Fla.
