SOUTHINGTON – Frank Waluk Sr., 73, of the Milldale section of Southington, passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016, at Hartford Hospital. He was the loving husband of the late Darlyn L. (Bower) Waluk.

Frank was born in New Britain on Feb. 20, 1942. He retired from Brunalli Construction after many years.

He is survived by his three sons, Frank Waluk Jr., and his wife, Tracie, of Bristol, John Waluk, of Southington, and Joe Waluk and his wife, Margaret, of Newington; two daughters, Wendy Ross and Holly Waluk, both of Venice, Fla.; five grandchildren, Frank III, Zander, Avery, Max and Tess; one great-granddaughter, Ruby. He is also survived by his brother, John Waluk and his wife, Ann, of Maine; and his very special friend, Carol Lumbra. He was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Pauline (Dumin) Pernal; and his sister, Janet Pitch.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 22, at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville. Calling hours will be held before the service from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Southington.
