WOLCOTT — Mrs. Mary Helen (Moynihan) Brundage, 86, passed away Wednesday evening, Aug. 19, 2015, at Waterbury Hospital after a brief illness. She was the widow of John W. Brundage.

Mrs. Brundage was born Jan. 17, 1929, in Waterbury, daughter of the late Timothy J. and Anna (Winslow) Moynihan. Mary will be remembered for her love of family and the joy she found in laughing, going to tag sales, shopping, camping and vacations to the islands.

She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Duren and her husband, Kenneth, of Wolcott; her son, Thomas Brundage and his wife, Cheryl, of Wolcott; her stepdaughter, Roberta Goss of Vermont; her sisters, Eileen Moynihan and Patricia Derouin; four grandchildren, Kristen, Kelly, Rebecca and Alyssa; three stepgrandchildren, William, Laurie and Mark; 14 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers, Timothy, Edward and Daniel.

The family would like to thank Jean Vaillancourt and the staff of Wolcott View Manor for the love and care she showed to Mary.

Arrangements: Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.
