WATERBURY — Mrs. Elida Ann Semanoff, age 62 of Waterbury, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2015 surrounded by the love and comfort of her family at MidState Medical Center in Meriden after an extended illness. She was the wife of Michael Semanoff.

Elida was born June 11, 1952 in Waterbury, Conn., the daughter of the late William and Josephine (Guerrera) Minogue. She grew up in the Middlebury and Greater Waterbury area and was a graduate of Southbury High School.

Elida was a loving and dedicated mother who loved to spend time with her grandchildren as well as doing crafts.

Besides her husband of 42 years, Michael, Elida is survived by her children, David Semanoff and his wife Karoline of Naugatuck, Kevin Semanoff and his wife Krista of Thomaston, Karen Angelicola and her husband Joshua of Waterbury.

She also leaves her siblings, Patrick, William, Daniel, Michael, Timothy and Thomas Minogue and Kathleen Donaldson, as well as her four grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Semanoff will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Eastside Memorial, “A Casey Family Funeral Home and Tribute Center,” 1987 East Main St., Waterbury. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. Family and friends may visit with Elida’s family on Thursday morning at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at 10.
