BEACON FALLS — Constance B. Sexton, age 69, beloved wife of Robert F. Sexton of Beacon Falls, entered into peaceful rest on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, at Waterbury Hospital.

She was born on Aug. 4, 1945, in Bridgeport and was the daughter of George Brogan Sr. of Cool Ridge, W.Va., and the late Margaret (Luddy) Brogan. Connie was a respiratory therapist for 20 years at Griffin Hospital, Derby, and for the last five years worked at Norwalk Hospital in Hyperbaric Medicine.

Connie was a member of the Marine Corps League Auxiliary, Valley Unit, past president of the Department of CT MCL Auxiliary and also past vice president of the MCL Auxiliary, New England Division. She was a caregiver to everyone she met. Connie was an avid bowler.

In addition to her husband and father, Connie leaves four children, Robert (Meghan) Fiero of Bethel, Kenneth Fiero of Seymour, Michael Fiero of Kansas City, Mo., and Michele Lucas of Southington; two grandchildren, Erica Patterson and Rebecca Payne; a brother, Kenneth (Karen) Brogan of Cool Ridge, W.Va.; and five stepchildren, Darlene, Robert, Richard, Doreen Sexton and Kathleen Duty. She was predeceased by a brother, George Brogan Jr.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 30, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church St., Seymour. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 31, at 12 noon at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
