Alfred J. Derouin, age 69 of Delavan, WI, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013, at his home in Delavan, WI. He was born July 20, 1943, in Waterbury, CT, the son of Theodore and Agatha (McGraith) Derouin, Sr. Alfred was united in marriage to Dolores (Schabert) Derouin. He spent his working career as a Machinist at Swiss Tech in Delavan, WI, and was a member of the American Legion, Men’s Bible Study and RCIA at St. Andrews Catholic Church, and the Bereavement Ministries. Alfred served in the United States Air Force.
Alfred is survived by his loving wife, Dolores (Schabert) Derouin of Delavan, WI, his daughter, Amy (Mike) Scott of the United Arab Emirate; his grandson, Felix Scott of the United Arab Emirate; his brother, Theodore (Sandy) Derouin; his sisters: Dorothea Guerrera, Rose Theriault, and Geni Derouin, all of Waterbury, CT; his sisters-in-law, Madeline Johnson Theif of River Falls, MM; Janice Schabert of Dickinson, ND; and many nieces and nephews. Alfred was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Agatha (McGraith) Derouin, Sr.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at ST. ANDREWS CATHOLIC CHURCH in Delavan, WI. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until time of funeral service on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at the CHURCH. Fr. James Schuerman will be officiating.
