Mr. Thomas L. DiBlasi, age 60, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, January 04, 2013 at St. Mary’s Hospital. He was the devoted husband of Debra (Monnerat) DiBlasi.

Mr. DiBlasi was born on March 5, 1952 in Waterbury, son of the late Thomas G. and Margaret (Falcone) DiBlasi. He was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School and was an accountant for many years. Tom was a member of the ODD Fellows, Nosahogan Lodge #21 in Waterbury. He served as the Past Grand for several terms and the Assistant Treasurer at ODD Fellows Home in CT. He was also an usher at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. Tom enjoyed riding his Harley and showing his black 1981 Chevrolet Camaro at car shows where he won several trophies. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandson Anthony Thomas.

In addition to Debbie, his wife of 37 years, Tom is survived by his daughter Rebecca DiBlasi and her companion Louis Criscuolo of Ansonia and his grandson Anthony Thomas DiBlasi and a wonderful extended family.

A funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 9am from Maiorano Funeral Home, 95 Willow St., Waterbury to the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception for a Mass at 10am. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5-7pm.
