Oakville – Mr. Michael George Semeraro, age 54, of Arcadia Ave died unexpectedly at Waterbury hospital on July 5th 2012. He was the husband of Chris (Ward) Semeraro.

Michael was born in Waterbury, CT on April 12th 1958 the son of the late John A. and Mary (Popovich) Semeraro. He was a lifelong resident of Oakville and was a graduate of Kaynor Tech High School. He worked as a toolmaker at Winchester Electronics for more than twenty years and was also the owner and operator of AMXMGS Resto Parts which specializes in making reproduction parts for classic cars. Michael was a car enthusiast who enjoyed building and restoring classic cars.

Besides his wife Chris, of 27 years, Michael leaves his two children Ryan Michael Semeraro of Thomaston, and Amber Dawn Semeraro of Bayonne NJ. As well as five brothers, a sister, many nieces and nephews and his beloved cat Butterscotch.

Funeral services for Mr. Semeraro will be held on Wednesday, July 11th, 2012 at 10:00a.m. at the O’Neill Funeral home 742 Main St Oakville, Friends and family may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday evening July 10th from 4:00pm to 8:00p.m. Burial will be held in Evergreen Cemetery Matoon Chapel Columbarium at the convenience of the family.
