TRUMBULL — Theresa Fragale Rossitto, 86, died peacefully on Monday, Aug. 23, 2010, at St. Vincent Medical Center.

Born in Pottsville, Pa., on March 24, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Frances Greco Fragale. Mrs. Rossitto was a very talented artist and seamstress. She enjoyed cooking for her family, a good game of scrabble, but most of all she loved her time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Paul M. Rossitto; daughter-in-law, Karen Ann Rossitto; grandson, Michael Rossitto; and great-grandson, Dominick Christiano. Survivors include three sons, Salvatore Rossitto and Ruth Fried of Prospect, Leo Rossitto and his wife, Dionne, of Milford, and Paul Rossitto and Terri McMahan of Huntington; six cherished grandchildren, Kimberly Dance and her husband, James, Michele Christiano, Chris Rossitto and his wife, Michele, and P.J., Kelly and Jill Rossitto; six great-grandchildren, Jimmy, Joey, Ty, Mackenzie, Maya and Morgan; nieces; and nephews.

Funeral services will take place 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010, at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Theresa Church, Trumbull, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield. Friends may call today from 4 to 8 p.m.
