WATERBURY — Mary Jane “Jay” Botta, 64, passed away Friday Nov. 21, 2008, at Meridian Manor Rehabilitation Center after a long and courageous battle with cancer.Mary Jane was born in Waterbury on Dec. 6, 1943, daughter of the late Giuseppe and Antoinette (Jacaruso) Botta. She was owner and operator of Maid for a Day for many years.She was a communicant of SS. Peter & Paul Church, and her hobbies included country music and bowling.She leaves a brother, Joseph Botta and his wife, Barbara, of Waterbury; an uncle, Michael Jacaruso and his wife, Rose, of Waterbury; an aunt, Genevieve Marinaro of Naugatuck; several nieces and a nephew including Joseph Botta Jr., Lisa Lablanc and her husband, Steve, Stacey Rivera and her husband, Andre, and Lori Jones and her husband, Dave. She also leaves three great nieces, Courtney Leblanc, Stephanie Leblanc and Shelby Jones, and a great nephew, Jordan Jones.

Arrangements: Funeral 9:30 a.m. Monday from Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, to SS. Peter & Paul Church for a Mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hour is 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
