BEACON FALLS – David N. Enquist, 65, entered peaceful rest on June 28, 2019 at his home with his devoted family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Joyce (Fischer) Enquist. Mr. Enquist was born March 30, 1954 in New Haven, son of the late Howard K. and Helen (Rabenko) Enquist. He was a retired Truck Driver having worked for Tile America in New Haven. David was a 1973 Graduate of Seymour High School. David had a love of classic cars, and he enjoyed bowling and golf. He was a member of the Concordia Singing Society, and was a fan of the N.Y. Yankees, and the N.Y. Giants. David had a love for animals, especially his dogs, Smokey and Zoey.

In addition to his wife, David leaves his loving family including his brothers, Howard R. Enquist of Seymour, John Enquist (Barbara), and Alan Enquist all of Beacon Falls, and his sister-in-law, Sandy Enquist of Prospect, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Norman Enquist.

Calling hours will be Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St., Seymour. A graveside service in celebration of David’s life will immediately follow in Union Cemetery, Derby Ave., Seymour. Memorial gifts may be made to The American Lung Association.
