Mrs. Gail (Leopoldoff) Kiselewsky, of Cheshire passed away Monday, June 5, 2017 at MidState Medical Center after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late William V. Kiselewsky.

Gail was born in Constantinople, Turkey on August 11, 1921, daughter of the late Anatole and Sophie (Zavatskaya) Leopoldoff and was a former member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Southbury. She enjoyed teaching children at Sunday school. She loved swimming, gardening and creating art. Gail truly loved people and could strike up a conversation with any one.

She leaves two sons, Nord Yakovleff and his wife, Peggy Rux of Ashford, CT, Kim Yakovleff and his wife, Gerry of Oak Harbor, WA, daughter, Jeanne LeClerc and her husband, Norm of Cheshire, CT, five grandchildren, Tanya Yakovleff Smith, David Yakovleff, John Romano, Evan Romano, Damon Yakovleff and three great grandchildren, Natalia Yakovleff, Cian Smith and Flora Yakovleff. She was predeceased by her son, Steven Kisell and grandson, Daniel Yakovleff.

Arrangements: A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at 4:30 p.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
