OAKVILLE — Ms. Sharon (Richmond) Sasso, 71, of Oakville, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2016 in the VITAS Unit at Saint Mary’s Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was the former wife of the late William Sasso.

Sharon was born on September 22, 1944 in Waterbury, a daughter of the late Helen (Pernerewski) Miscavage. She was a graduate of Wilby High School. Prior to her retirement in 2004, she worked as an office manager at Ideal Products in Beacon Falls. Sharon had also worked in Quality Control at Century Brass and as an office manager at Rostra Engineering in Fayetteville, N.C.

She leaves two daughters, Tracy Biolo of Watertown and Jaime Sasso of Waterbury; a nephew, Frank Ferraro, whom she loved as her own son and his wife, Laurine; her grandchildren, Stephanie, Samantha and Danielle O’Connor, Cassidy and Madison Biolo, John Lambo and his wife, Melissa, Shane Ferraro and Brie Ferraro; two great-grandchildren, Aubree and Jace Gonzalez; a niece, Lauren Pawloski; and a brother, George Miscavage of Watertown. She was predeceased by a son, William J. Sasso; and a sister, Francine Pawloski.

Arrangements: Funeral services and burial are private and at the convenience of her family. There are no calling hours.
