The Brass City Cruisers and the cruising community as a whole are saddened to learn of the death of longtime car cruiser Victor LaRosa early this morning. Vic and his wife Felicia have been pillars of the car cruising scene in the Greater Waterbury area for the past 30 plus years. His red 1938 Chevrolet street rod has been a longtime fixture at all of the local cruises and shows. Many remember the night in 1992 that he brought it out for the first time after restoration at the Roy Rogers cruise in Waterbury. Vic kept cruising all the way through his recent illness. Even unable to drive, he still came and showed his support for something that he loved. We ask everyone to keep Vic in their prayers and we all offer our condolences to his wife Felicia and his entire family. He will surely be missed and his impact not forgotten…
