Car Cruising and the COVID-19 Virus – April 17, 2020 Update

The Brass City Cruisers would like to pass along an update regarding the status of our cruising season in light of the COVID-19 virus.

For starters, our normal April Wendy’s get together has been cancelled. The restaurant, like all others in the state, is currently closed for dine-in service.

Due to the restrictions in place on gatherings and social distancing, effective immediately the cruises at Cross Pointe in Naugatuck and Wendy’s in Waterbury have been postponed indefinitely. We will continue to monitor the situation as the weeks pass and make a decision at that point on how to safely resume these cruises.

Two changes that have been made that are definite concern the cruises at Walmart in Naugatuck and Municipal Stadium. Regardless of any changes in status with the state restrictions and COVID-19, both of these cruises are cancelled for 2020 and will not be held.

We appreciate your understanding during this unprecedented time and will continue to pass along updates as they become available.
